Normally I would think that it was just a coincidence, but we all know how much fanfic Kripke reads.

I don't think Ares plays well with others, period. Though it would be interesting to see.

It scares me when I think too long about Kripke on the internet. And by scares me, I mean I want to put parental controls on his computer.

I imagine them having a prank war/betting on humanity thing, but not being BFFs no. Mostly I want them to meet because I want to see them messing with humans so freaking much. Also any crossover with Xena is a pro, imo.

I bet the writer's team all have LJ accounts. Sera got them addicted.

I can definitely imagine them having good times while playing pranks on humanity. It'd be a competition over who can put their respective duos in the worst alternate universe.

I'd be okay if Ares gave Gabriel the idea of putting Sam and Dean into one morphing body that switches night-day like he did with Xena and Gabrielle. And then Xena and Gabrielle can get stuck in TV shows but be like "what is television?"
