Supernatural: Where Even the Angels Have Daddy Issues

Fuck it is fucking September. FIVE DAYS? I cannot deal with this.

Dear Self,

You need to chill the fuck out and stop watching this video and cracking the hell up. It is not healthy to laugh this much. I don't think.


But distracting myself with silly things will only work for so long.

In the meantime, I've been watching random episodes for refreshers here and there, and, well...
My ability to control what I say while watching them (alone) has gone out the window.

Examples:

"Let us come with you. We'll help."
"No, Sam. Not yet. Try to understand, this demon is a scary son of a bitch. I don't want you caught in the crossfire. I don't want you hurt."
"Dad you don't have to worry about us."
"Of course I do. I'm your father." - Shadow

.... at which point I literally slammed my hand down on the desk and shouted "You're the WORST FATHER EVER." Possibly Definitely loud enough for my neighbors across the street to hear me.

"Sarah, you don't understand. The pain that I went through... I can't go through it again. I can't." - Provenance

To which I yelled "HAHAHAHA OMG PLEASE BURN DEAN ON THE CEILING!" And then I did a hasty backtrack and said "Shit I can't believe I said that."

I also have this tendency to keen "Deeeeeeaan" whenever his abandonment issues/death wish issues come up (or just being a complete sadface). I remember after finishing the series and reading up about it on TV Tropes and they mention that, before What Is and What Should Never Be that "Admit it, until What Is And What Should Never Be/All Hell Breaks Loose came around, you completely missed the hints in Hollywood Babylon/Folsom Prison Blues that there was something very, very wrong with El Deano."

... Croatoan. But yeah I mean, just look at that conversation in Scarecrow? GOSH.

And in the midst of all that Dean love I should ALSO say that I LOVE SAM. I do. Even when he needs to be smacked around a bit. He tries so hard.

Truly, there is only one character I dislike on that show, except I don't actually dislike him as much as I want to PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE and then make him hug his children and tell them he is not leaving them to be eaten by a striga.

In the meantime, HOW AMAZINGLY CONSISTENT THEY ARE WITH WRITING THESE CHARACTERS I DON'T EVEN KNOWWW:
Dean: "I'm just sayin' man, there's some legends you just file under 'bullcrap'."
Sam: "And you've got angels on the bullcrap list."
Dean: "Yep."
Sam: "Why?"
Dean: "Because I've never seen one." - Houses of Holy

Dean: "Can I ask you one last question?"
Roy: "Course you can."
Dean: "Why? Why me? Out of all the sick people why save me?"

Yes, I don't know if people in my building can hear through my walls, but I hope not. Because I have definitely been yelling loudly and laughing hysterically.

Rewatching Season 2 & 3 definitely made me fall back in love with Sam even though we went on a break during Season 4 when he started getting on my nerves a little. But, thankfully, it was more the Gabrielle is turning pacifist getting on my nerves than anything legitimate...except opposite. >.>

ANYWAY. The only character I dislike on the show is Urinal, but I enjoy watching him get smacked around by other angels.

Yeah because Sam is Gabrielle. Only, accidentally becoming evil. But yeah, I LOVE SAM. He keeps failing all over the place but he TRIES SO HARD. Then only thing I get pissed at him about is when he gets so obsessed with revenge that he fails at appreciating his brother. BROS B4 HOS SAM.

But yeah I'm really digging this self-hatred stuff which is horrible but yeah I do love it. :O

I enjoy Urinal. Zack kind of freaks me out lately though. He's trying to hard to come off as human and keeps treating Dean like a zoo animal. O.o
